Crisis Blueprint

Putting your Communications Organization to the Test

Whether you have a Disaster Recovery plan or not, Crisis Blueprint creates a higher level of preparedness and comfort with what needs to be done.

Crisis Blueprint is a highly focused media training to teach your team how to respond to a crisis. We’ll review likely crisis situations, the organization’s vulnerabilities and the details of the management plan normally used to respond. If the plan needs to be expanded and updated, that will be done during this phase of the process. Once your plan in firmly in place, NMC Partners training team will stage a day-long workshop crisis.

Crisis Blueprint workshop team participants will recognize a developing crisis as directly related to the organization and as being serious enough to “keep them awake at night.” The team must make all of the decisions called for in the real situation, following their crisis communication plans. News stories are created by the training team, based on the input received, and on the crisis team’s responses to key stakeholders. A NMC Partners facilitator guides the team through an evaluation of its responses, and discusses refinements that will improve the process.

Impact Mapping

Impact Mapping charts which media has the greatest impact on an organization’s story, so that efforts can be targeted for maximum effect and efficiency.
